The Proposal Type document includes the Edit Proposal Type tab. The system automatically enters data into both the Old and New sections in this tab. Selected data fields are available for editing.

Edit Proposal Type tab definition

Title	Description
Proposal Award Type Code	A code that represents the type of proposal or award.
Proposal Award Type Description	Required. A text description of the type of proposal or award, such as 'New', 'Competing Continuation', 'Supplement', etc.
Active Indicator	Indicates whether this proposal award type code is active or inactive. Remove the check mark to deactivate this code.
