    Finds a unit by unit number. The unit number cannot be blank.
    
    Parameters:
    
    unitNumber - the unit number. Cannot be blank.
    
    Returns:
    
    the unit or null if not found.
    
    Throws:
    
    IllegalArgumentException - if the unitNumber is blank
