The IACUC Submission Type maintenance document is used to establish and maintain numeric codes and textual description values which are stored in database tables. This data serves as reference information that is made available for display and selection in various areas of the system, including e-docs and other maintenance e-docs.
The IACUC Submission Type maintenance table contains values that indicate the type of protocol submission and is available for selection during protocol submission through the “Submission Type” field in Protocol Actions/Request an Action/ Submit for Review section. The system automatically controls which values from the Submission Type maintenance table are displayed for selection. For e.g. for a new protocol, only certain values are available for selection.
