Enum Class Status

All Implemented Interfaces:
Serializable, Comparable<Status>, Constable

public enum Status extends Enum<Status>
Enumeration of CacheManager and UserManagedCache statuses.

Instances are allowed the following Status transitions:

UNINITIALIZED to AVAILABLE
In case of transition failure, it will remain UNINITIALIZED
AVAILABLE to UNINITIALIZED
In case of transition failure, it still ends up UNINITIALIZED
UNINITIALIZED to MAINTENANCE
In case of transition failure, it will remain UNINITIALIZED
MAINTENANCE to UNINITIALIZED
In case of transition failure, it still ends up UNINITIALIZED
As such the UNINITIALIZED state is the fallback state.

    • UNINITIALIZED

      public static final Status UNINITIALIZED
      Uninitialized, indicates it is not ready for use.
    • MAINTENANCE

      public static final Status MAINTENANCE
      Maintenance, indicates exclusive access to allow for restricted operations.
    • AVAILABLE

      public static final Status AVAILABLE
      Available, indicates it is ready for use.

      Returns an array containing the constants of this enum class, in the order they are declared.
      Returns:
      an array containing the constants of this enum class, in the order they are declared
    • valueOf

      public static Status valueOf(String name)
      Returns the enum constant of this class with the specified name. The string must match exactly an identifier used to declare an enum constant in this class. (Extraneous whitespace characters are not permitted.)
      Parameters:
      name - the name of the enum constant to be returned.
      Returns:
      the enum constant with the specified name
      Throws:
      IllegalArgumentException - if this enum class has no constant with the specified name
      NullPointerException - if the argument is null
