
A. Institutional Commitments > Cost Sharing: Left Navigation button click to reveal and then open the Cost Sharing screen.
B. View Summary & View Subaward Cost Share buttons: Click to open the window. Note: the subaward button only appears if they have been added via the Subaward Screen > Add Subaward process.
C. Add Cost Sharing button: Click [+Add Cost Sharing] to add another period row to the table. Use the add tool to divide the commitment to multiple sources.
D. Cost Share Period Detail row: The table defaults with a row for each period where cost sharing appears: edits can be made in each of the columns to reflect the commitment.
E. Amount: the value may be edited to reflect the contribution of this source row. Changes to the amount will update the Total Allocated and remaining Total Unallocated values at the bottom of the list.
F. Actions: Delete the row by clicking the trashcan icon. Deleting the row does not remove the cost sharing commitment, only that allocation row.
G. Total Allocated & Total Unallocated: these values update as the distribution row amounts are maintained.
H. Reset to Default: Prior to allocating commitments, click the reset button to update the values with any changes in the budget or subawards.
I. Proposal Footer actions:
o Back: click to navigate to the previous screen on the left navigation bar
o Save: click to save the proposal data and stay on this screen
o Save and Continue: click to navigate to the next screen listed below on the left navigation bar
o Complete Budget: click to mark the budget status as complete in the Budget Settings.
