The IACUC Protocol Submission Type Qualifier maintenance document is used to establish and maintain numeric codes and textual description values which are stored in database tables. This data serves as reference information that is made available for display and selection in various areas of the system, including the Protocol e-doc.
The values in the IACUC Submission Type Qualifier maintenance table serves to additionally define the type of submission type for the IACUC protocol (made available through the IACUC Submission Type maintenance table). Institutes can choose to control which submission type qualifier should be available for a particular submission type through the “IACUC Valid Protocol Submission Type Qualifier” maintenance table.
