Contact Type

The Contact Type maintenance document is used to establish and maintain list of contact types which are stored in database tables.  This data serves as reference information that is made available for display and selection in various areas of the system, including other e-docs.  For example, Contact Types are used in Awards, Award Templates and the Subward  e-docs to identify the roles utilized in these actiities.  .

Existing Value Modification Caution:  It is recommended that you not delete existing values, and modify them only if the new description is synonymous with the original name.  Existing values can be edited as long as the description is synonymous with the original term. New values can be added. You should not delete existing values.

Edit Contact Type Section

The Edit Contact Type section of the Contact Type maintenance document is a unique section that allows you to specify and maintain the details associated with the reference table record in fields.

Contact Type Code	The number code value used to identify and reference this contact type.
Description	Required.  Enter a name that uniquely describes this comment type
