The Submission Type maintenance document is used to establish and maintain numeric codes and textual description values which are stored in database tables. This data serves as reference information that is made available for display and selection in various areas of the system, including other e-docs.
The Submission Type maintenance table contains values that indicate the type of protocol submission and is available for selection during protocol submission through the “Submission Type” field in Protocol Actions/Request an Action/ Submit for Review section. The system automatically controls which values from the Submission Type maintenance table are displayed for selection. For e.g. for a new protocol, the only value available for selection is “Initial Protocol Application for Approval”.

Existing Value Modification: Existing values may be edited as long as the description is synonymous with the original term. New values can be added. You should not delete existing values. |
