Agency
The Agency document contains detailed identifying information pertaining to an agency. A previously non-existing agency can be added to the table and information for an existing agency can be updated. The Agency document deals with external sponsoring agencies for many Contracts and Grants activities.
When Contracts and Grants
Billing is turned on the Agency document can be used to create new AR customers
and is used by Contracts and Grants Billing to associate an AR Customer number
with an Agency to facilitate invoice generation. Additionally, the Agency
contains information related to collection activities.
