Using Groups with Assigned Personnel

A group can only be added when a person is initially assigned to the period. If the person row already exists, you must delete the row add them back with the group selected. Once a group has been created in a proposal budget, it is available for selection from the Group drop-down list.

      Navigate to the Assign Personnel screen and click the [Assign Personnel] button to open the window.

      Follow the standard entry steps for assigning personnel (select a person, object code, enter dates, effort, charge, period)

      Click the Group field to display the drop-down list; select the desired group from the list.

      Complete the remaining required fields and then click the Assign to Period (#) button.

      The person will be added to the period detail list, in the object code-group section.
