Update an Existing Subaward Documents

 

Once your subaward document has been created, saved and approved into Final status, the document can be updated with new information and invoices as it progresses through the research life cycle.

 

An existing Subaward document may be accessed via a Subaward search, the action list or doc search global buttons at the top, left of any KC screen

 

The following illustrates locating the subaward document either through Unit or Central Admin Post-Award menu portals > Subawards search.

Enter your search criteria into the Subaward Lookup fields and then click the Search button located at the bottom of the screen. Scroll down to see the result set which will appear below the Lookup section once your query has been processed.

Click the ‘open’ link in the Actions column to open the subaward document.

“Open” enters the document in ‘view’ mode. To make changes to the document, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the ‘edit’ button.  When the ‘edit’ button is pushed, the subaward will open as a new Version and the user may update the document.
