IP Review Activity Type

 

The IP Review Activity Type maintenance document is used to establish and maintain numeric codes and textual description values which are stored in database tables.  This data serves as reference information that is made available for display and selection in various areas of the system, including other e-docs.  Technology Transfer Offices use IP Review Activity Types to record an activity while reviewing a proposal for Intellectual Property issues.  For example, your Technology Transfer Office may use Activity Type Codes to record when a staff member attends a meeting, sends an email or fax, or calls another person on an IP Review. On the Intellectual Property Review page of the KC Institutional Proposal e-doc, you  select an Activity Type Code from the Activities section.

Edit Intellectual Property Review Activity Type Section

The Edit Intellectual Property Review Activity Type section of the <Document Name> maintenance document is a unique section that allows you to specify and maintain the details associated with the reference table record in fields.

Required.  Enter a value to uniquely identify the IP review activity type in the system.  You may use one or more letters and/or numbers.

Description

Required.  Type text to enter a descriptive name for this IP review activity type as it is commonly referred to.
